The good folks at Defunct are looking for well-crafted essays, and they are looking for you to write them: DEFUNCT publishes essays of 2000 words or less on everything that’s had its day.  We’re not a repository for nostalgia, but rather a glance over the collective shoulder at what’s gone by.  Sometimes the essays are elegiac, sometimes ironic, sometimes form-busting, sometimes traditional.
